Sebbie's playing with boats

I found some beautiful, handmade, wooden toy boats at a small toy store on Nantucket this summer. They are perfectly Sebbie-sized, so you can guess where this is headed: the latest Sebbie paintings. Courting Adventure (top) and Sebbie and the Toy Boat.

The piece currently on the easel involves a biplane (bit of a transportation theme?), if the days were a bit longer it would have been done by now, but I suppose winter teaches us patience.

Open Studios Thanks
